Philosophy:
The mission of Dancing for a Difference is to provide opportunities for children to raise money and needed supplies for community and national charitable organizations.		 Events:
Dancing For A Difference has sponsored many activities since 2003. These activities have included Bring a Friend events, parties at the studio, and community variety shows. These variety shows, Have A Heart by Rudy and Friends, and Gifts of Dance have been hugely successful and have become favorites among the Dance Workshop by Shari dancers, as well as the other participating groups.		 The Results:
Through the efforts of the Dance Workshop by Shari staff and students, these events have raised over $45,000 since 2003 The beneficiaries of these efforts have been The Greater Pittsburgh Women’s Center and Shelter, Children’s Hospital of Pittsburgh, Make-A-Wish Foundation®, Gilda’s Club, The Greater Pittsburgh Food Bank and St. Jude’s Children’s Hospital, as well as some local families dealing with medical bills.

"Dancing for a Difference" describes our two-fold mission in providing top-quality dance education, while also giving our staff and students the opportunity to use their talents in a positive way to benefit the community.

Serving the communities of Whitehall, Bethel Park, Baldwin, Upper St. Clair, Mt. Lebanon, South Park, Brentwood, Pleasant Hills, Castle Shannon, and more, we offer instruction in Ballet, Pointe, Tap, Lyrical, Acro/Gymnastics, Musical Theater, Hip Hop, Vocal and Modern.
